Vision
FSL
envisions a society where peace, justice and freedom reign. where there are no more squatters in their own country
but all equally share the contry's wealth and resources. Where there are no more signs of man's inhumanity to man but
all actively work for equality and respect for human dignity.
Mission
FSL
shall work for the immediate as well as the long-term rehabilitation of Samar and Leyte migrants and internal
refugees
in order to empower, assert and fully develop their right to development and organize them into sectoral
formations.
As a campaign center, FSL shall actively support regional issues and concerns through advocacy, alliance building and mobilization.
Goals
To
organize Waraynons in Metro Manila into associateions, cooperatives, support groups, federations and alliiances and mobilize
them in support to the needs of fellow Waray and issues of the region.
To
conduct studies that would highlight and conceptualize the experience of the people for alternative policy
determination.
Prepare project proposals and feasibility studies on livelihood programs for poverty alleviation
and
community development.
To
provide skills training in project management and social awareness.
To
assist partner organizations and deserving individuals and/or groups in
sourcing for funds for IGPs and socio-economic projects.
